Reasons to invest

I know and respect the founders of the fund well and liked the approach of aggregating larger and more solid brands while keeping the management teams in charge, different from the small scale FBA aggregation approach run by e.g. Thrasio, Razor and Berlin Brands Group that mostly replaced the founding entrepreneurs by their own employees.

Learnings

Difficult timing during the post-COVID e-commerce depression, but I still believe in the model and team, also valuations are much more fit for a profitable investment than a year earlier.
